The Toronto Canada Moose are pleased to announce the hiring of Joe Ziel as Assistant Coach.
Mr. Ziel met with Head Coach Josh Boni and myself this week, and we're pleased that Joe appears to be a great fit for our organization.
Joe has been involved with the game in various coaching capacities for almost 30 years, and brings a wealth of experience to our team.
Apart from an Assistant Coach position with the Sequin Bruins HC in the OPJHL, Joe has spent many years coaching with York Simcoe, Barrie, Innisfil, Bradford, and East Gwillimbury since 1980, and for many years, has operated the Tidal Wave AAA Spring Hockey Program for prospects in the 1994 age group.
Joe has helped many players move to higher levels and brings a wealth of recruiting knowledge amongst players from the Central and Northern Ontario regions.
With our team now set behind the bench, I am now in a position to devote more time to promoting and marketing our players to college programs primarily, and hopefully get a few players on to major junior and professional clubs as well.
