Factoid about Web Advertising versus Print Advertising:
A recent survey by The Voice and also reported in Weekly World News noted that after an exhaustive survey of ten cities around the United States, 93% of all free daily or weekly newspapers are never read at all.  Not even flipped through.  Less than half of daily newspapers are never read at all either.

On the other hand, almost 95% of display advertising on web sites are looked at and read by web surfers, mostly because they can't help but see the ads.  This is why these types of media impressions are so effective, albeit subliminally.  Actual click-thru rates on most web display ads vary from 1%-6% depending on the ad.  That is a great response compared to print advertising.....because you can't click on a print ad!

The success of the Forum in promoting the GMHL and providing a venue for discussion, feedback, results and other league information for the league's growing legion of fans and supporters, has been nothing short of remarkable.

After experimenting with advertising rates based on similar market statistics, the ad program has now been modified, clarifying the sizes available, but also providing more affordable rates.

1)  600 x 140 Pixels; Premier Position (Title Sponsor) - Top of All Pages;
 Cost per year     T.B.D.
2)  140 x 70 Pixels; Second Position - Below Menu; $500 per year
3)    75 x 75 Pixels; Third Position - Side of Page - L/R; $250 per year
4)    75 x 75 Pixels; Fourth Position - Individual Team Page Heading; $150 per year
5)  140 x 70 Pixels; Fifth Position - Bottom of Page; $500 per year
