Amen to that 44dad.  The goalies are overworked.  From what I've seen, the Als d-men try to pinch in way too much and that leads to lots of breakaways and odd-man rushes.

And rattlerfan, not many teams score more than 2 goals on the Rattlers.  The Als can match up with any team in this league offensively (when they want too).  They do have the fourth best goal for in the league.

The problem with most teams that face the Rattlers is that they are to quick and to skilled. There passing is stick to stick, tic tac toe and they are accurate shooters. I have been to most of the home games and it has always been the same, blowout.

I am really looking forward to their game against Temicaming as I believe they are also still unbeaten.

It was a very chippy game. The Als are a big strong team and I have no issue when they are finishing their checks. There was good contact on both teams. It's the constant "F" bombs at the ref that made me happy I did not bring my kids. I have no idea why he didn't toss them out of the game.

#9 from the Als seems to be a little pest who's best move is slew footing the other team, he did it twice in the final few seconds of the 1st period, but the ref did nothing.

The referees needed to get better control of the players and kick some guys out who abused them. It was loud and clear from the stands so I am sure he must have heard it a few times but chose to do nothing about it.

I have no idea what was said in the Timekeepers box to upset that young lady but I did hear someone talking about the Police being called....  There is no room for that crap in hockey. I just enjoy heading out on a Sunday night and watching some good hockey. I spent a few years having to watch the Bradford Bulls "C", the Rattlers are a great team to watch and other than last night most of the other teams are also fun to watch.

i understand that you guys were frustrated about the game but nothing excuses the way your one player treated me and i hope that none of you have condoned him for his actions.... also dont bother asking me what  happened because i will not repeat it or tell you which player it was.. hopefully in his hearts of hearts he knows what he did wrong and feels bad about it
